Australia TGA reviews processes for minor variations to prescription medicines

The Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration is planning to introduce new processes later this year to make it easier for companies to make minor variations to prescription medicines1.

The TGA is preparing to consult with industry on its proposed changes, which it says will aim to enhance the robustness of the regulatory framework, increase the certainty in TGA processing times for self-assessable quality-related changes, and improve the transparency of the TGA’s processes…
